Swiss shooting has a large following. It also has an Olympic champion in Nina Christen, who won gold and bronze medals at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021. The Swiss Shooting Sport Federation (SSV) is the national umbrella organization for shooting. With almost 130,000 members, it is Switzerland’s fifth largest sporting federation and celebrates its 200th anniversary this year. The stamp marking this anniversary reproduces the classic A target and is adorned with a beautiful metallic gold colour.
